Dane Goodfellow, DLA President, on LinkedIn Success

Dane Goodfellow, President of the Digital Learning Alliance, was the inspiration behind our Sep. 11 blog post about using LinkedIn.

Goodfellow reports that since DLA has moved to using LinkedIn that it’s been effective to make contacts, and organizations are becoming members faster than when cold calling.

“It’s been an amazing transformation,” said Goodfellow. “And this new approach is working out better than I could ever have imaged. I have Gary Hennerberg and his colleague Perry Alexander, the “Gary/Perry Show” as I call them, to thank for taking us this direction.”

(Dane Goodfellow is a past executive with IBM Corporation, and was one of the leading architects of Utah’s successful economic model. Dane’s work is credited as the foundation for 23 consecutive years of top rankings in economic leadership, and he has been credited with raising over $500 million in state funding for leveraging technological advances in education).
